Life is about to get crazier around here and I don't want to forget any of those moments... or maybe I do!

Three!

3rd Birthday!

Arggg!  Look who is THREE!!!  My busy, busy boy is growing so fast!  This has been a big year for Huck.

He started school, which he has grown to love even though it got off to a rocky start.  He talks about his friends and teachers, Miss Bridget and Miss Eunice,  at school and has been learning so much.  His music teacher, Miss Ester, also teaches the kiddos Spanish.  He has learned colors (he almost always says blanco instead of white) as well as grande (big) and chico (small).
First day of school

He talks so much!  It is so fun to listen to him thinking out loud as he tries to figure out the way the world works.  One of his favorite things to say is "I didn't know that...."  For example, we were looking at wedding pictures and he said "I didn't know that you had food at weddings!"  We can understand most of what he says and his teachers say he is on par with the rest of his class.  He has many voices- monster voice, mad voice, robot voice, baby voice...  His volume is often set on LOUD but he has a sweet little whisper as well.  He calls his big brother "Bubba" and his sister "sissy."

Huck is an adventurous guy.  He loves to climb, jump and wrestle.  He can hold his own with the big kids, too.  He can play very nicely by himself and will disappear into his room for a stretch of time.  I love listening to him narrate his play!  Right now he is big in to Octonauts, a cartoon on the Disney channel.  He also likes Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Mickey Mouse.  He loves to play pretend as is often a cat or dog, a pirate, a spy, a "Booter" Hero (superhero) or even the Schwans guy.  He loves to play outside and dig in the dirt, a true boy!  This summer he LOVED swimming and was quite brave with his life vest on.
Halloween

He got to do  a bit of traveling this year as well.  We went to the cousins house in June, to Gulf Shores in July, Mom Mom's house for Thanksgiving and to Little Rock to meet the cousins for a long weekend this past February.  We went to the drive through animal park, Fossil Rim, in Glenn Rose.  We were quite busy this year!  Among others some of the things we did... we went to the Dallas Zoo, The Gulf Shores Zoo,  Disney on Ice, the State Fair of Texas, The Memphis Zoo, the Perot Museum, Crater of Diamonds State Park,The Little Rock Zoo, the Little Rock Children's Museum, Jumpstreet (an indoor trampoline park)
